National Curricullum Based On Emancipated Learning

Under the ministry of education, culture, research, and technology of the Republic of Indonesia bring the fundamental changes to Indonesian system thrugh Merdeka Belajar or Emancipated Learning Of Policies.

Replacement of the National Standard School Examination mechanism

  • Teacher and schools area given more autonomy in assessing students learning outcomes
  • USBN is replaced y school organized assessment using the school standard
  • The assessment of student competencies is conducted in amore comprehensive approach in the form of witten tests, student projects, etc.

Replacement of the National Exam

  • The National exam is replaced by the National Assessment which consists of minimum competency Assessment and Civil Character Survey
  • Developed and modified from international assessment (PISA, TIMSS) The National Exam is focused on literacy and numeracy competencies, as well as character building.
  • Aimed at mapping students learning performance and progress, the National Assessment is given to 4th, 8th, and 11th grades.
  • Assessment result is used as the baseline for further improvement by teacher and schools

Simplification of Lesson Plan

  • Teachers are given more autonomy to develop lesson plans that are more affective, efficient and best facilitate student learning.
  • Lesson plan shoud at least contain three core components ; learning objectives, learning activities, and assessment with additional elements based on needs.
